 Ruth and Chuck hosted the pot luck. Renee did 50/50 Don Binns drew out the number and Ruth Lowery won $13.50. U C it pays to be a host.. one good deed deserves another! LOL

HI everyone I miss you all so much- and the weather too!! We still have not had a good sunny warm day - I don't have flowers planted yet - It's too wet and cold!! It only got up to 56 today and this is good. I'd better get working on getting a place for the fall!! Any ideas??
Dave - love your picture - it's so good you were able to see the plant flower!!How is my pinkie doing? Has it grown any in your heat?? I will owe you a Timmy's for the watering!! Maybe I'll show up next week at Shirl's.

I got up last night to take the dog out and saw that one of our Night Blooming Cereus had opened. They only open once a year at night for 3 hours and die's. The fragrance scented the entire room

Hi to all. got home from hospital saturday. doing pretty good. the surgery only took about an hour. pat is becoming a pretty good nurse. it seems like everything is going well down there. looking forward to november. thanks for all your thoughts, wishes and prayers.

 A favoriate place for our Grandson Taylor to see while visiting is The Roaring 20's Pizza and Pipes. They are in Ellenton at 6750 North U.S. 301 You will hear The Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ while you have pizza or eat ice cream they also serve sandwickes. A Nice evening out.

Newsflash... I went to town today with Diane Boyd and she took me to the Cooper Penny Restaurant on 301 near 674 they have great lunch specials for $5.00 look at the little stand menu on the table they serve 11am-4:pm. Then we went to a new store that opened up by sun city drugstore, Call Tuesday Mornings, they have a little of everything and great prices... check them out

 Thanks for the good wishes. I go in the 4th. I'm trying to get the house in some sort of order but not having much luck. so much to do. I'm making it easy for pat to feed me by getting frozen dinners. Feeling great and not expecting any problems. Want to get back out to our campground as soon as possible. Lots to do out there too. We do have a dock so I should be able to get in and out of the boat easily. Working on getting flyers out to those of you that don't have email about the chulavista picnic on July 22nd. I'll be emailing information later on this month and will then mail the flyers to the rest of the people. Thanks again. Take care everyone. Happy birthday gail.
