 Just saw pictures of the clubhouse. What a GREAT job. Ron & I can't wait to get back there. He will be there Oct.14 & I'm coming Nov. 2. YAHOO!!!

What can I say but WOW! Thank you for all the hard work in the clubhouse. It looks wonderful.
On another note we had a fun picnic of 30 people at Sue and Pat's home in Kalamazoo. It was so good to see some of our Chula. friends. Looking forward to seening the rest of you in Dec.

 Hi all, well we did it again. With the help of BEANNIES we did it again. We were able to raise $3,131 for Roger Marten. Pictures are on the way. I want to thank every one who helped in any way with this fund raise. $3,131.00 is just what Chulavista raised. Donatiion came in the way of dinner tickets, cakes for the cake walk or auction, raffle ticket or just money donations. I here there is a little contrversity in this fund raiser which I am sure you will all here about when the snow birds get back. This moneys were from our own residents. I know you all know Roger Martin, at least you have heard of him. I have been here over 20 years. Roger was often the first to help any one in need of man power.He was there to lend a hand if he could. Oh dear I just aged myself. I am only 50 guys I promise. Take care all can't waite to see you.

Even though I was there as work progressed, looking at the slide show it doesn't look like the same place. Sure looks great and I love the coat closet.

The signs and other things that were on the bulliten board will be posted in a place on the screen porch. The prospectus is going to be posted near the drinking fountion to the right of the door going into the kitchen. Can't wait for every one to see if is beautilful. Miss everyone see you soon!

I just watched the slide show, great job on it Renee!! The club house looks Great!! Can't wait to see it in person. Where are all the things that hung on the bulletin board going to be?  I just looked at the sideshow for the newly painted clubhouse again... The color is Terra Cotta it doesn't show well on the pictures. Any way the more I look at it the more I love it! The room has elegance to it.

Yeah!! We're finally done. Gene and I would like to thank Dottie, Renee, Joyce, Nick, Chuck, Mark and Willie for helping a whole lot. Without all of them helping we wouldn't be done yet. I hope all of the residents enjoy the new look. We're going to take a much needed rest. Byeee!!

Tonight I will be posting a slide show of the newly painted clubhouse! We have a few more finishing touches and then it will be ready! You will be surprised and very pleased it turned out lovely. Like anything Bonnie and Gene does. Next week we will touch up paint and the floor, tables and chairs will all be cleaned! Ready to make many more Chula Family Memories!

Please NOTE: Bingo will be Moved to the rec hall next Thursday Aug 6th because the clubhouse will be emptied out for the floors to be stripped, waxed and carpet cleaned on Friday. Then over the week end put it all back together. Nick set every thing up also said while everything is out in the screen room, all the tabled will be cleaned top to bottom along with the chairs. I am not sure if he need help moving or cleaning ask Nick Nichols lot 46 Thanks Renee

On the Managers Blog are photos of items in the storage lot that do not have markings for lot #s or address and are not registered with the office. If any of these items are yours Please notify the office in person or by phone ASAP. Any item remaining unidentified by Aug. 28th will be concidered abandoned and delt with accordingly.
