 The old fashion pot luck was good, then we had hog calling contest, the winner were Bob Dean lot 374 1st place., Elieen White lot 221 2nd place and Pattie Patten lot 42 3rd place. way to go guy and gals... Elieen White's 2 daughter took part also. This was Wanye and Aggies 2nd year for the contest

I want to thank everyone who attended my Dad, Bob Day's Memorial Service in late September. It is so comforting to know that both he and Mom were surrounded by such wonderful people during their years at Chula Vista. Thanks also to those who coordinated the service and provided the wonderful food. Special thanks go to Jan & Hank who were so often with us at just the right time, and to Karen for her eulogy. The day after Dad passed, my brothers, sisters-in-law and I all experienced a calm and peaceful feeling. We decided that Dad had found Mom and all was well. As the holidays approach we will focus on my grandson and Dad's great-grandson, Aiden. It's the circle of life that requires us say goodbye to the previous generation and sometimes it is difficult. However, each of you made the process of saying goodbye to Dad's physical presence a little easier. Love to all, Diane Day Vanasco (Bob's daughter)
