Jim-I also thank you for the weather reports. My Florida room is not raised and I have been worrying about water getting inside. Since it is carpeted, it could be a smelly mess.

Hi Chula Vista Family My granddaughter Makailah who just graduated June 3rd from high school left on the 17th for Marine Corp boot camp. We received our first letter today and she is very home sick, no electronic devices are allowed so we can only send her letters to help her get through this If anyone would like to send a a note wishing her well her address is: RCT Badger, Makailah 4th RTBN Co O PLT 4026 MCRD Parris Island 29905-6445 She has never been away from home so I know how hard this is for her. She should graduate around September 17th and cross the field as a Marine. Thanks and Love to you all

Tuesday afternoon weather update the river is not going down and not expected to for 2 more days. weather has calmed down a little, but still have bands of rain come thru and winds have stayed fairly high with some sun from time to time. No apparent damage in the park. traffic is a mess because the skyway has been closed for three days and part of the clearwater causeway and bayshore srive in tampa closed. some people in the park have had trouble with canceled flights. nothing to worry about, go on an enjoy your summer.

Thank you so much Jim for the information. It is awful to be so far away and try to find out how things are down there. I will pass the info along to others. You have relieved a lot of anxiety up here.

for all of you up north, although we had had a large amount of rain, the park has had little flooding except right at the boat docks. I have checked carports and yards hourly for hours and have found no sign of anyone in distress with water. Now you all have grass again.
