 So, we're about to begin a new season here at Chulavista. Snowbirds are starting to drift in, and I need to announce the deadline for the November newsletter.  WOW! You people really LOVE avocadoes. We set out a chair at the end of our driveway and put a big bag of avocadoes on the seat, offering them to anyone who happened by. They disappeared very quickly! Hope everyone enjoys those big green fruits. I'm glad that no more of them are falling from the tree onto the roof. The noise of the crash scares me right out of my socks!

 So sorry to hear about those that are sick. Prayers for Tom, Russ and Mary and their families that care for them. It is not an easy task to look after those so unwell. I hope Mary's surgery takes away her pain and gives relief. We are planning to leave her in three weeks and look forward to seeing our Chula family again.
