 Hi to everyone. We miss you all at Chulavista. It is still very hot here for Ontario and very dry. when it does rain it pours and then disappears for days.Very humid too so we are getting a taste of your summer!
I have been busy driving my daughter to Toronto every day since June 16th when her husband had an accident at work and was flown to the burn unit at Sunnybrook, which is hte best in Canada. He had 20 % burns to his chest and arms, 2nd and 3rd dgree so he had surgery for skin grafts. He had a pulmonary embolism during the surgery and his heart stopped bbut the got it going. They had to put the grafts on another day as it was too much They induced a coma for 2 weeks but also had pneumonia and septic areas from his burn. To top it all off he had an adverse reaction to drugs and started having seizures every 10 min.At that point he was catatonic and we did not think he would make it. but after much prayer he has had a miraculous turn around and is home for the weekend for a trial run. He will still need much therapy and wear a pressure garment 23 hours a day for the a year. But PLT he is healing well, a few gaps in memory but that is to be expected. If all con tinues to go well we will be looking for a place to rent this winter. So if you have any news let me know. Can't wait to get back down. Hope evryone is well.Love to all

Well Renee it's been raining here today off and on and it is in the 80's so I think I'll pass on your invite to Florida. Last week it was sweltering and I hibernated in the house with a lot of good books. At least this week we can be outside. I give you credit for living down there year round. I am looking forward to seeing you all in the fall

 Hello Renee from Indiana and it is another hot day here too. Heat index is horrible and we miss the breeze off the water at Chulavista. We read the message board almost everyday and dream of being back down there and retired from this job!

In June, Charles Stumpf resigned from the Chulavista HOA Board. I have appointed Kate Mast to fill Charles term of office. Kate has accepted this appointment and the Board has approved it. Well we are 2 days into our week of sweltering weather. Hope the air conditioner keeps on working. By Wednesday we are to have heat indexes in the 100's. Thank God I have a lot of books to read because I am going to be inside. Take Care and stay cool
