 Hi all, can you please put Marita Stroud on the prayer list. I talked with her yesterday and she said she has beem in the hospital with her heart problems again. They are running tests and she will get the results the 30th of this month. On another note, I can't wait to see the clubhouse. Everyone's hard work is appreciated. Thanks to all for your labors.

I know I haven't written much lately... But I have been over to the clubhouse working with Bonnie & Gene R, Nick N, Dottie S, Joyce B and Chuck R. Bonnie vision is coming to LIFE. I can't wait till it is all done, I am very excited about it. Working together and seeing it progress is soooooooo cool. I am PROUD to be part of the Chula Family!

 It is really exciting hearing about the clubhouse. can't wait to see it. we are busy getting ready for the chulavista picnic here in Michigan. There is a group going out for dinner on tuesday and then staying for karaoke. Pat is working his butt off getting the garage and carport ready for everyone. It sounds like we are going to have a good turn out. Marie is going to take many pictures so we can put them on the web site. Keep up the good work you are doing. see all of you in the fall.

THanks Renee. Ron really liked Roger and felt he could talk easily with him and he sure appreciated Roger's advice while working at Shirley's. I know he's looking forward to some more contact with Roger this winter. I'm glad to hear he's getting better.

Dear Chula Family, a few of the activities have been canceled due to painting inside the clubhouse. By next week some will be back in there. It will be worth the wait. I am so excited about what is being done. Y'all will be surprised!

Thank you Dale... I love to hear that. This site would be nothing with out my Chula Family. WELCOME to the Chula Family...You can be as busy as you want to be OR just sit back an Chillax with a cold one by the pool! LOL I am sure you are looking forward to retirement!. My daughter, Brandie says she works a 40 hour weeks and I am busier than she is. I many not get paid cash, but the memories are soooooooo worth it and FUN!

Hey Renee, the website is great and thanks for all the links and photos. It made my top ten list of places to look at for buying a home. Glad to say now after visiting, I am a new resident! Gail and Chuck were super nice. I hope by the end of the year I can send you some before and after photos of new vinyl siding for your links. Looking forward to a great retirement!

BINGO IS CANCELED THIS WEEK JULY 16TH. HAND AND FOOT WILL BE AT THE REC HALL. NO SIT DOWN VOLLEY BALL INSTEAD WII BOWLING IN THE REC HALL. 7PM WED. AND FRI. I KNOW THIS IS UPSETTING YOUR WEEKLY ACTIVITIES, BUT WHEN YOU SEE THE INSIDE OF THE CLUBHOUSE IT WILL BE WORTH IT!

Florida Space Shuttle Endeavour's Launch "No Go" Due to Weather...(Monday night now they say at 6:51pm EST.) check out the mode of transportation down by the Little Manatee River to see the shuttle go up! may be tommorrow.

Bonnie and Gene are repainting the inside of the clubhouse. They have ask for volunteers to help Tuesday morning 8:am July 14th. We will have Hot dog Tuesdays at 11-1. and coffee 8:am please all other events may be canceled or moved for the next two weeks. check the clubhouse to find out.

The fish fry pot luck turned our great... Had new people step up to help. This was Al and Carmen's first co chair event in our park along with Willie and myself, There was plenty of fish. Al and Carmen made Cajun, coconut and beer batter halibut plus the fish caught by the residents in the park and fixed deep fried. Thank you to Steve and Carol Simmons for taking money at the door and also to Bill and Carolann Killiam who did 50/50.

 Yesterday we had Wii bowling, I think that Santa is going to have a run on them this Christmas for a lot of our Chula Family... We really had fun, with the screen being so big and the wii going though the sound system. You would swear you are in a real bowling alley.
