Just wanted to know if anyone else in the park has been ill. I've been sick all week with some crud (sore throat, sinuses swollen, fever). Sure be glad when this is over. I miss the pool!!!

 Hi Chula friends,
We arrived home two weeks ago Saturday to very mild temps. Today was very hot 85% at 7:00 pm.
Been busy in our yard. Gene has no one to visit with on his walks on the 40 acres. A show in Traverse with American Idol Josh tonight. NO ROOM!

We had an earthquake today. 4.2 on the Richter scale. First to originate in Kalamazoo County since 1947. We have felt tremors several times from other quakes but they did not originate here. Our grandson was in the basement and he thought a car had hit the house. It gave us a good rocking.

Pat's Uncle Ray was able to go on the tallons out flight to Washington DC for WWII Vets Saturday. We were there to welcome him home last night. There were 67 men and 2 women vets honored with this flight from Kalamazoo. It is quite impressive to stand in line and watch them all return for our salute. It is a full day for them, they leave about 7 a.m. and don't return until 8 p.m. It's a long day but they really enjoy it. A great big salute to all those who serve our country.

Well we are outside Lima Ohio will make it home tomorrow baring any problems on the road. It has been a really smooth trip so far. Did run into a rain storm below Cincinnatti lots of rain and a little hale but it was only for about 10 miles. Gas prices good in tennessee and georgia soso in kentucky and ohio. see you all next november.

We're close to Firekeepers casino so you may want to spend the night. Exit 104 off I-94 south on 11 mile rd to Southbrook dr turn left and first house on the left.

WHY DO SOME PEOPLE INSIST UPON DRIVING THEIR GOLF CARTS WITH THE HEADLIGHTS OFF…?
IS IT JUST BEING “COOL” OR THE “IN” THING?
SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT, AND I AM SURE THE DRIVER OF THE CAR WILL HAVE TO BE BLAMED.
THE PARK IS DARK ENOUGH AND SEVERAL HOMES DON’T EVEN HAVE THE LAMP POST WORKING IN THEIR YARDS.

We hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but.... The pool is closed again. The brand new pump has failed. We will do all we can to have it up and running as soon as we possibly can. In the meantime, you are welcome to make use of the pool at Neptune Village. Thank you for your patience.

I was ask to change the children under 12 free be removed as most pre teens can eat more than some adults. So sorry I had senior moment. I forgot. Please forgive me. Renee.
