A great big thank you to Jim McCallister for leading our salute to veterans at the hymn sing tonite. Another thanks for those that participated in the program. It was very moving.

It has been called to my attention by many veterans in the park that a lot has a flag flying that is offensive. it is a mix of an American flag and Canadian flag. I am sure they are proud of being Canadian and I have many Canadian friends, howerver this can not stand.
in the National Book on Flag Etiquette it states,
THE FLAG SHOULD NEVER HAVE PLACED ON IT, OR ATTACHED TO IT, ANY MARK,INSIGNIA,LETTER,WORD,FIGURE OR DRAWING OF ANY KIND.
WHEN FLOWN WITH THE NATIONAL BANNER OF OTHER COUNTRIES, EACH FLAG MUST BE DISPLAYED FROM A SEPERATE POLE OF THE SAME HEIGHT, EACH FLAG SHOULD BE OF THE SAME SIZE. THE FLAG OF ONE NATION MAY NOT BE DISPLAYED ABOVE THAT OF ANOTHER NATION.. Please correct this problem right away.
