Thank you, Renee. We are having a lot of trouble with solicitors lately, and it will only get worse as the season approaches. Please call us if you have anyone knock on your door selling anything. We have chased several out in the last few weeks, one group (they tend to work in teams) more than once. Two even climbed the locked gate to Handy's!

As I travel thru the park I have noticed several torn and ragged American Flags flying from flag poles. Please, please show respect for our flag. Either replace it with a new flag or at least take down the torn and ragged American flag. Thank you in advance.

 I am chomping at the bit; can't wait to get back down to good old chulavista. We will leave Michigan on the 4th of november baring any problems. We should be down there by the 9th; stopping to see some friends along the way.

FYI Chulavista family, we have a few new businesses coming in the area Dunkin Donuts and Basket and Robins will open soon in the parking lot by Home Depot. The second one is Popeyes Chicken on 674 next to Wendy's. Already opened is (Big) Dollar General on 41 south of the park, first left hand turn land just past Hide-A-Way. On 674 Dollar General across the street from Babcock Funiture. Yeah!

We appreciate the sympathy cards remembering our mother Ethel Mix. We had a lovely service at The Methodist Church in Frankfort where Ethel was the oldest member at 56 years and attended for 85. Wow not many can say that. "God Bless"

We just spend 5 days in Gatlinburg in a cabin with Larry and Lillie Henry. And met up with Don and Juanita Stafford and took us on a great boat ride and went to the Bushs bean factory and had our pictures taken with Duke. Had a great time

The clubhouse will be closed on the 13,14,15 and 16 as they will be stripping and re waxing the floor. Thanks for your patience. Hand and foot will be played at the usual time at the rec hall and nickle bingo will also be played at the regular time at the rec hall. There will be no volleyball on Friday night. Thanks again
