 Having a great time in MI went deer hunting with Taylor on the youth hunt. He had got doe the day before and shot a coyote when I was with him. I took video of a huge flock of turkey. That was cool! Flying home Friday morning early. Miss everyone have fun on your trip Marie and don't do anything I wouldn't do!!! that leaves u wide open!

 Well tomorrow we are off on our bus trip to South Dakota along with Gary and Sharon, Pat and Sue and many of our UPS friends and a few strangers who are brave enough to ride on the same bus with us. Just kidding. We will behave. Planning on having a great time and good weather.

we had the retirement ceremony for our son who is retiring from the air force after 27+ years of service. It was very moving. We are very proud of him and his accomplishments. Now maybe we can get back to our regular schedule and something done. hope all are well. see you alll in november.

Jim gave the eulogy for Dave Boorsma... great job I don't think anyone could have said it better as a good friend like you did. Honor guard did wonderful job with the flag and 21 gun saltue. Pastors Jack and Derek had very nice things to say. Daves family can see that when they leave Mary will be with the Chula Family who will love her and watch over her too. Dottie and Bobbie got the food taken care. Thanks to all who helped make this a day of remembering Dave, our friend who God called to soon, But who will live on in the hearts of many with love and great stories! R.I.P. My Dear Friend Dave.

when Dave was in his last hours and was asked what he needed He said "I need to talk to my friend Jim". I hurried from Philadelphia and made it to his side with just 18 hours to his psssing. I am so humbled by his final request of friendship.

I know everyone knows about Dave Boorsma. I post it the NEXT day under Gails name so that Family can be notified. I would hate to read about my Dad, uncle or cousin by reading it on the park web site. The web travels so fast.
