 we're spending the night on I-475 around Macon. So sorry to hear about Roaring 20's closing. That organ used to be in Indy. We drove out there frequently to enjoy the music. Steve's aunt, a really accomplished organist, played the instrument once. She loved it!!! I'll miss having it so close again. See everybody tomorrow.

The roaring 20's the bank foreclosed The are talking about what to do with the pipe organ we will see. Taylor is coming in tioday and that was one of his favoriate places!!!

Too bad about the closures. Maybe the Roaring 20's will reopen seasonal when the snowbirds come back. We always liked to take our company there.

 with the money and times the way it is 3 places CLOSED. Sam Seltzers Steak House, The Roaring 20's Pizza Place in Eleenton, and Rogers Christmas House Village in Brooksville. So sad I loved the pipe organ at the pizza place. :(

Yea!!! They're married. Here's a pic of the wedding of our son and new wife, and kids. They were married on June 5. Steve also got the roof of the house fixed. We got to spend time with the new grands and enjjoyed getting to know both them and Katrina better. We visited with old friends too. Very busy time. We're tired!!!
We're heading back to Chula tomorrow (Wednesday) and will be there by sometime Thursday. See y'all soon,

Thank you Sharon for the clarification on Maxine. It is raining today, temps have been close to when we left Chula at the end of April. I can't believe it is June already. Ron officially qualifies for the Old Age Pension tomorrow!! I will then be married to an old man.lol

Well the rains were here today and forecast is for more rain and thunderstorms through the weekend. I don't envy you the job of doing the telephone book but I know you love the challenge and you always do such a good job on everything. We have given our ac a workout also. Its easier to cool this house then our old one. Take Care

hope everyone had a nice holiday. we had a great time with bob, marie and everyone. It was maxine turbin that died. she live 2 mobiles down from danny and terri across from bob hammer. her son and grandson brought her down and stayed with her. it was a different maxine that played volleyball. maxine turbin was 88 I believe.

Well we had a great weekend up north. We were joined by Gary and Sharon VanAlstine and Lyn and Sue Burget and Pat and Sue and many other friends and family. My new great grandson enjoyed his first visit at the trailer also. Pat and Sue's daughter and son in law hosted a pot luck at their place and as usual we all ate too much.It was nice to see everyone and especially nice to see our Florida friends. Hope to see more of them at the picnic in July.

I am so frustrated with dial up internet!! Thanks for the pic and name of those ducks Renee. Ron had een trying to find the name of them. THey sounded so funny. Pics are great and I miss eeryone so much. I am certainly not able to get out like I did at Chula!! Very humid and hot today like I am in Florida though today at least. Please clarify for me. Maxie - is that Maxine who played volleyball this winter??? LOve to all

Hi, so nice to see all the news from Chulavista.
I talked with Bernie and MaryLou Woods on sunday the 16th, Bernie had a pace maker and defibulator put in on May 12th. he was doing well and home from the hospital, he is seeing a lung specialist for his lung problems is Ann Arbor soon cant remmber when. they dont have a comnputer ,so If you wanted to sent him a note I'm sure that he would be belighted.

 Well the 80's have arrived in Michigan and of course we think it's too hot now. I saw Sue yesterday. She is doing well with her walker. Pat said he signed her up for senior olympics already. Maybe she should bring the walker to florida to assist her getting home from some of the parties at the hall. LOL Just kidding Sue
