Felicia R. Stanley-Johnson is the founder and CEO of M.A.D.I.O.C. INC. (Making A Difference In Our Communities), a youth outreach program that specializes in mentoring, tutorial, and life skills training. Felicia was born and raised in the fourth ward community where she attended all the community schools. She graduated from Georgia State University in May 2000 with a B.A. in sociology.

 

Felicia currently works as a Tax Eaminer in AUR and has served as a Lead Data Transcriber/ Training Instructor & Union Steward for the Internal Revenue Service. She worked for the Atlanta Public School System as a long term substitute for five (5) years.

 

Felicia founded M.A.D.I.O.C. INC. in 2004 do to her passion for youth and the recognition of a need for a community outreach program founded, directed, and organized by someone from the community that could identify with the issues our youth face today.

 

Felicia is also a very active member of her community. She attends St. Paul A.M.E. Church where she is a member of the Sounds of Glory Choir, the Wings of Spirit Liturgical Dance Team and the Choreographer for the D.F.C. (Dancers for Christ) Youth Dance Team.

 

At age Thirteen (13) Felicia became a member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) where she continues to volunteer her time and talents. She has been very instrumental in introducing youth from ages 10-18 to this organization.She has arranged for several children to attend the SCLC National Conventions for the last six (6) years.

 

Felicia has received numerous awards for her commitment and dedication to the community, public, and youth. In 2006 she was honored in “Who’s Who: Amongst Executive Business Women”. She has been described by friends as lovable, caring, loyal, thoughtful, reliable, witty, detailed and as a leader. Felicia is very dedicated to the mission of training respectful, articulate, and intelligent leaders in an attempt to rescue our youth from the distractions of the streets.
