A website is like going to the grocery store. I enjoy this picture below taken of me at a grocery store opening. When I received the invite, I was at first hesitant. Stories in a grocery store? It turned out to be a lovely and engaging time. People stopped and listened. I told favorite stories about food and the earth, a connection vital to remembering.

I like to end my programs, especially in schools, where the children enjoying an assembly or classroom visit with me, might me on their way to lunch next. So I say to them,

"We have been eating STORIES, SONGS, POEMS, MOVEMENT. Stories are what have nourished and sustained people across time. Now is the time to carry all that we have shared in your minds and hearts as you go feed your bodies.

Tis true that ALL STORIES MUST COME TO AN END

THAT IS SIMPLY THE OPPORTUNITY FOR A NEW STORY TO BEGIN !
