Sun Bear, Chippewa Medicine Man,  Author of many books on Native American culture and helping each of us walk our path in Beauty and in Balance, was also a visionary. I studied and apprenticed with Sun Bear and lived part time over a few years on Vision Mountain outside of Spokane, Washington. Vision Moutain was once the traditional vision quest sacred space for the nearby Spokane Indians.

As a Visionary, Sun Bear prophesized the coming of the Rainbow Nation when all people would learn to live together. My services as  StoryTeller  and Story Carrier and Drama Teacher/ Director is dedicated to the Rainbow Nation. Thus, Rainbow Hearts Nation Children's  Theater. as  theater has always been a vehicle for stirring minds and hearts to ah...waken wonder in our world.

Below is a communication connected to future intention with drama course for Children's Theater.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

My love of theater began with a mother and father who nurtured my love of story and drama by both reading to me, encouraging my own reading by bringing books into the house and by providing a place in the living room and the backyard for their children and the neighbor's children to put on plays. There were also, given 10 children in my birth family, the occasional and very special trips to see live theater.

Even after these many years of enriching life experiences of teaching across Amrica and in Australia, of performing near and far, of serving in youth, hospice and hospital interfaith ministry and countless other roles !, my first love is the world and the realm of children's theater.

   I have taught drama across America in schools, after school programs, enrichment programs, and for groups like The Girls and Boys Club and The Girl Scouts. The following photographs were taken over 10 summers of delightful service as Drama Teacher and Director of Popcorn's Theater on the magnificent Mother Earth Stage. That is 100's of successful and ever so satisfying Shows!

Thank You to all the Thousands of Children who have graced the Theater Stages and live on in my heart.
