Hello, my name is Crystal Zawaysky and I am 32 years old from Westminster, MD.. My parents split up when I was 3 years old and I lived with my mom. I started smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol when I was 10 years old. A few years later I was smoking marijuana, snorting coke and taking pills. I eventually became addicted to pain medicine which eventually led to a heroin addiction. In spite of my troubled life, I was blessed with four beautiful children. Because of my drug use and lifestyle, I lost custody of all my children. Every opportunity given me to get help resulted in my declining help. On December 2, 2015 I was released from jail with every intention to enter a program—but I didn’t. By December 30th I was homeless, forming another habit and feeling very broken. I called New Life For Girls and the next day I entered the program. Even though I never thought a program would be the answer for me, New Life has proven me wrong in many ways. My life is now more stable then it has ever been and I’m surrounded by people who love and care about me. Since coming to New Life God has done amazing things. I am sober and clear-minded — I can’t remember the last time I felt this way. God has begun the restoration process with my two youngest children and I’ve had the opportunity to speak with my oldest daughter. God continues to reveal Himself to me more and more. I am learning so much from the classes but most important I’m learning to love myself. I am so grateful that Jesus saved me!!!  God bless you and please pray for me and my children.

Dear Friends,

Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus.

There is nothing more rewarding than to witness the power of God and the restoration that comes from a surrendered life. Once troubled addicted and lost only now to know the power of a resurrected life. Easter the memorial and celebration of Christ’s Resurrection. For many its  another day but for us it is a reminder of the blessing we have in walking with Jesus everyday.  We are grateful always for the reminder we have here at New Life For Girls about the Love and Power of Jesus to Heal and Restore. We are truly blessed and thankful for the love, prayers and support you give to these women.  Thank you for your continual service to helping others.

We pray you and your family have a Blessed Easter.

In His Service,

Pastor Susan Matos,  Director
