Woodswitch Farm is located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains just 13 miles west of Mena, Arkansas, in an area called Mountain Fork and is only 3 miles from the Oklahoma border. With over 40 years of experience caring for horses and cattle - Woodswitch is the happy home to Brangus cattle, trail horses and farm dogs. Most of the horses are retired Thoroughbred race stock but there are a couple of Missouri Fox Trotters and Paints as well.
Woodswitch will gladly board your horses overnight (or even year round!) in clean stalls, pens
or small grassy paddocks, whichever you desire.
Ride our 270 acres of trails with great footing and scenic views and when you have seen it all you can ride off the farm into the Ouachita Mountains for over 200 miles of shaded trails, up and over mountains, through streams and along cliffs and bluffs.
You will be able to enjoy the wildlife everyday.
Come ride for as long as you want and we can even shuttle you up if you don't want to ride back to the farm. We offer overnight primitive camping and you can fish in any of the many lakes or just ride!
