hi all, I'm new to the area too and my neighbor suggested the Sun City Christian Church on 301. I haven't missed a Sunday since the first Sunday I attended. It is an awesome church. Absolutely AWESOME! Take College Road to 301, turn right, go 2 miles and you're there. I do hope you try this church, I was amazed at how great it is.

Go Rays. We'll be rooting for them from up here too Renee. Fred and Kate were here and Fred and Pat watched the game last night. Pat was afraid that the Rays were going to blow it. It will really be exciting down there. See all of you soon.

Can anyone give us some suggestions for a new church home? We'll be on the lookout for one when we move there in April. We're protestant, members of a Christian church.

We HAVE lots of flea markets.... Bradenton has red barn, Off of Fowler road is the Big Top, Palmetto has the midway. One of the largest Flea Markets in the state is in Busnell called Webster. As for thrift shops, Good will, The thrift store, Angel attic, plus a few more in Ruskin. In sun city everyone goes to Nearly New in the parking lot by dollar general, dollar tree, save a lot ect.

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to our snowbirds, I hope you had a great summer. The renovations to the Clubhouse are in full swing. As Renee posted, the clubhouse will be off limits while the contractors are working, which will be until 5:00 PM. After that it will be available for use. Mostly this is for safety reasons, but also so we are not getting in the way of the workers. It will be worth the inconvenience and hassle when we can work in the kitchen, without bumping into each other and getting into each others way, and sit out on the screened porch on a nice evening and enjoy the breezes and company of our friends. I believe you will all be pleased and proud of your face-lifted clubhouse. Thank you all for your patience while we make our "Paradise Found" even better!

Hi Chula Family, Fred was moved back to the Critical Care Unit this afternoon(Oct. 15) He is in pretty bad shape. He is on a Respirator. It is breathing for him. He is sedated most of the time. If you have time for a prayer,it would surely be appreciated. He needs it. Thanks.

Due to construction in the clubhouse, NO ONE will be allowed in the clubhouse while the contractors are working. So for the next 2 Tuesdays Oct. 21 and 28, Hot dog Tuesdays will be at the Rec Hall by the office. We will be grilling hot dogs on a gas grill. Cost is the same and time is 11:00am- 1:00pm. Hope to C U there.

Next Tuesday Oct. 21 @ 1:15pm @ the REC HALL will be a craft meeting to set schedule for this coming season. Meeting should be short. We are looking for guest teachers for crafts like last year, Lee Eckman will NOT be here this winter season. Any questions see Renee Sammons

Thanks, Janice, for the info on Brighthouse. I like the idea of no additional charges for long distance and hope it applies to out of the US. as my calls will be to Canada.
