I am shocked at Ed's passing! He was such a kind and gentle soul! My heart goes out to the family and his friends. He was an inspiration and always good to talk to. I know Ron will be upset. We were going to leave that weekend but I am sure Ron will want to be there on Sat.

There will be a "Celebration of Life". for Ed Beatty. Sat. Oct. 20th at 2PM in the Chulavista Clubhouse. The family requests that those who remember Ed to come with a story to share with the guests. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed's honor may be made to the following: EAA.org (Experimental Aircraft Association or St.Judes.org At a later date there will be another Celebration of Live in Fort Wayne, IN some time in Nov. I will keep you posted.
