I'm back from the Bahamas. Had a great time, though rather weary. Ate toooooo much good food. Anyhow -- the next newsletter deadline is Tuesday, February 26th. Be sure to get those articles to me. Use the mailbox by my door if you like. Also, remember that Linda Schwartz and I will compile a new address/phone list that you can place inside your existing phone book. Get those changes to us ASAP. Thanks for your help.

Guest Conductor Harry Stanton Lives near Rochester NY, He winters here. He play Trombone and Bass Trombone in South Shore Concert band and many other ensembles in the area. Wonderful job bay every one!

Ed Easton Graduated From Naval School of Music... besides being the Conductor, he did a solo piece Portrait of a Trumpet. He is the former director of Middleton Symphonic Band and The Middlesex Community College Concert Band. Right now he is the instructor at Land O Lakes Christen School and performing member South Shore Brass Quintet, Tampa Comm. Band. Blue Notes, The Barbara St. Denis Variety Band. Busy Man!

Jack Edison Blue Moon. He played 6 years in the Army Band. He played in the Dixieland Band along with numerous Big bands. The Shine Circus in IN. Started The Jack Edison Orchestra for 21 he then retired in 1993. Jack did not pick up his Trombone again until 2002. Sun City Swing, The Blue Note Swing Sound Band along with the South Shore Concert Band. Great Job by all!!!!!

Tom Litzenberger the Alto Saxophone soloist... FYI He has performed with many famous people, plus the Kennedy Center, Rockefeller Center and Carnegie hall. What talent!! Wonderful super .

Super amount of Talent from all over..... What a Fantastic job! The South Shore Concert Band from Sun City FL. They rehearse Monday, 7-9pm at the United Community Church 1501 La Jolla Ave, Sun City, FL If you play musical instrument, They invite you to join them for rehearal, Students and Adults. are Welcome. The South Shore Concert Band is an out-reach program of the Untied Community Church of Sun City, FL.

We had some turn out for the concert from the South Shore Concert Band... You would have LOVED it.... Music of the Beatles, The Lion King, Blue Moon, Them Basses * A March*, A Tribute to Johnny, Woodwind Marmalade, Sinatra in Concert, Portrait of a Trumpet, The Best of Miami Sound Machine Smokey Joe's Cafe and last but not least Stevie Wonder in Concert!!! WOW!!!

the concert band today was great. They played some oldies but goodies. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
