What becomes of dreams

when we put them away

Do you think they disappear

and return another day?

Maybe they just linger

somewhere out in space

When you try to retrieve them

maybe they've found another place

Now you're searching aimlessly

to find what you have lost

Just to have that dream again

you won't spare any cost

Why didn't you just challenge your dreams

to see how far they take you

But now that you've lost that opportunity

the next person will see them through.
