Another food I highly suggest limiting or excluding is red meat.  There are a variety of reasons for this.   Meat is very difficult for the body to digest.  If you get illness and eat meat,  you are slowing recovery time.   Red meat is a highly acidic food. 

Did you know.........the bloodstream must be in a PH balanced state to maintain health?   Eating too many acid and acid forming foods will hurt your health.   An acid food is not necessarily a bad choice.   Lemons are acidic.  But when they go in the body they become very alkaline.  As do most citris.   You can check online for alkaline ash and acidic ash foods. 

Most grains are also very acidic.  Sprouted organic grains are by far preferable to not sprouted.    Ideally,  it is believed the diet should consist of 75% alkaline and 25% acidic foods.  Dr Mercola,  of http://www.mercola.com ,  the number visited health site on the net,  is much against grains.   He advises not using them.   I do use them,  but I limit my use of them. 

You may be thinking by now that I don't want you to have any enjoyment when you eat.  You're quite aways from the truth if you do.  But I can see why you may be thinking that.   I enjoy my foods very much.   Some I had to get used to. 

But guess what?   The body knows what it needs.  If you start eating a food that doesn't appeal to you,  it may be a good idea to keep consuming it.  If it is good for you and your body needs it,  that unappealing taste will go away,  sometimes very rapidly.  

Are you wondering now how you will ever get the protein you need that meat has?   Actually,  that is very simple........

     Because meat is so hard to digest,  you do not get nearly as much protein as what actually is in that meat(about 22%).   You can get more than enough protein from eating green foods such as Chlorella or Spirulina(60-70% protein, plus they are considered superfoods;  they are very nearly a complete food),  lentils,  soybeans(I strongly suggest organic only here due to this being one of the most commonly genetically modified foods in the U.S.A.)  

There are a wide variety of other plant foods which have very useable protein(it is pre-digested so your body really doesn't have to work to use it;  very beneficial to you).  Fish, chicken and turkey are certainly better alternatives to red meat.    And..........

     Red meat unless organically grown,  will have generally a minimum of 17 chemicals in it which is done directly by the grower.   That is in addition to the chemicals it gets from the foods it eats.   Considering the average "healthy" adult in double blind tests has about 165 chemicals;  92 of which are known cancer causing agents,   I would not eat any red meat except organic.   I don't eat meat,  but that is my preference.  

Since I was sick the majority of the first 40 years of my life and now I am a very healthy individual,  I see no reason to go back to the reasons that made me sick and live that life again.  I have no desire to be sick.   So I eat well.  And the food/meals are generally extremely good tasting.   One just has to learn how to eat.  

 I eat a moderate amount raw foods.  Remember I told you enzymes are critical?   That is the only place short of supplements you are going to get any(in the raw foods).   And according to studies done on enzymes,  many enzymes on the marketplace have no activity;  meaning they do nothing for you.  Green Smoothies are an incredibly good food for you.  And can be made extremely delicious and are always filling.  Search online for recipes,  or if you want mine,  just ask. 

Still with me?   I realize much of what I am saying most people will not do unless they have a serious health problem they strongly desire to get rid of.   I can only lead the proverbial horse to water; I cannot force that horse actually drink of it.    I have helped scores of people get rid of very serious illness,  but afterwords many go back to the same original lifestyle,  and end of getting the same or another health problem again.  

  **Very disheartening for me.  Which is why now I prefer to teach,  although I will help someone if they ask.  That way I do not have to see the self-imposed destruction.  I am doing what I can to help you.

It is well-proven that when you apply these chemicals to your skin, they enter your bloodstream and become integrated into your body tissues, In fact, it is probably safer to eat these ingredients than to rub them on your skin (although I strongly recommend you don’t do either!).

However, if you do happen to eat these chemicals, your digestive system can produce specific enzymes  to break down these toxins and excrete them… something that doesn’t  readily occur when you absorb them through the skin.

Potentially harmful ingredients continue to be used. Why? Because they are cheap, readily available, and easily diluted.

Does Your Skin Care Product Contain These Chemicals?

Why don’t you run and get a bottle of any of the skin moisturizers that you are currently using. You might find that your personal care products contain one or probably more of many possibly dangerous ingredients.

Here are a few of the most common suspicious ingredients:

  • Mineral Oil, Paraffin, and Petrolatum – Petroleum products that coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatologic issues. Slows cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer. Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?
  • Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.
  • Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.
  • Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.
  • Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.
  • Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived”.
  • Toluene Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.
  • Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin.

    Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

So, do you want to put these chemicals on your skin? Hopefully not...

You’d be better served by switching to skin care products made of plant names you recognize, can pronounce, and could even eat (if you had to).

 

 Another thing I must bring up when it comes to healing is a digestive system cleanse.   And you are going to need it if you've been using the items Dr Mercola listed above.

There are numerous ways to do this:   Such as getting  professional colonics.    Consume plenty of fibers.   Eat as much organic raw produce as possible.   Think of the digestive system as plumbing in your bathroom.   What would happen if your toilet didn't flush well?   The system would back up.   Your digestive system is the same way.   

A digestive cleanse is not something that should be done once every year or two.  It should be done continuously, but any is better than none.

    It has been said that americans take better care of their cars than they do their bodies.  That is an incredibly true statement.   They will have the oil changed regularly.  Wash it frequently.  If it doesn't sound like it is running the way it should they take it to an auto shop to have them fix it.   If you are thinking that you need to take your body to a medical doctor for a health fix,  you are doing backwards thinking.  Here's why.......

A medical doctor is trained by the people who stand to profit from the doctors actions......the drug cartel.   A doctor will prescribe drugs(aka poisons) to treat a symptom,   rarely will a doctor address the cause.    Addressing the cause would get you healthy.   Addressing a symptom nearly never will.   If you get well,  you would have anyway.  But you may be more comfortable for awhile while taking the drugs.    If you were taught how to get and stay well,  the doctor would most likely be out of business.

A medical doctors job in the U.S.A. is not be make you well,  but to make you think you are getting well.   To make you well,  the doctor could not prescribe a drug.  All drugs have poison in them.   Poisons in your system will only hurt you.  You may not see it now,  but you will.   Take the blood thinner Coumadin for example.  Did you know the common name for that is Warfarin?   If you still don't know......that is RAT POISON.   But does your doctor tell you this?   Not likely.    I personally have been the victim of way too many doctor prescribed drugs.  Never again.   Doctors have their place,  but in the U.S.A.,  health care doesn't appear to be one of those places. 

Getting back to the digestive cleanse............Your blood circulates throughout your body continuously.   Including to and from your digestive tract,  where, if you're like anyone who consumes the standard american diet,  you have fecal buildup on the colon walls.  This is poison!   Which is being delivered straight into your bloodstream, and being delivered throughout the body,  to every organ including the heart and brain.  

What do YOU think about having sewage being continuously dumped into your bloodstream and running every second in your heart and brain, and all the rest of your body?   Not too appealing is it?      Are you understanding yet why you get sick?  

Would you believe me if I told you that you had the capability to live well beyond 100 years of age and be in as good condition as many 25 year old americans are?  And perhaps better?   It is very true.  You DO have that capability.   Although toxins are far more prevalent right now than they were 50 years ago.

One of the prime benefits you can experience in regaining/maintaining your health is to breathe deeply every chance you get.   The benefits to this seem limitless.  This alkalines the bloodstream;  added oxygen helps get nutrients from the foods you eat into the cells;  oxygenates the brain;  renews cell growth;  kills harmful(not the helpful) bacteria and can inactive viruses.  

When you breathe deep,  it is best when starting, if possible, to hold each breath for up to 4 seconds,  then exhale completely.   Breathe again deeply from the diaphragm and repeat.  The more you can oxygenate your bloodstream the better off you will be.   Not only that,  but breathing is what activates your lymphatic system,  which is a major eliminator of body wastes.   You need to get waste out of the body as quickly as possible.  The longer it is there, the more vulnerable you are to illness.
