APPLICATION AND CONTRACT FOR SLIDELL FALL STREET FAIR 2017 AND

SPRING STREET FAIR, 2018

FALL 2017 - SATURDAY OCTOBER 28TH & SUNDAY, 29TH - 10 AM to 5 PM DAILY

SPRING 2018 - SATURDAY, MARCH 24th & SUNDAY, MARCH 25TH  -  10 AM to 5 PM DAILY

READ AND KEEP FOR REFERENCE: (SAME FOR BOTH FAIRS)

I HEREBY MAKE APPLICATION FOR SPACE AT THE ABOVE LISTED SHOW FOR EXHIBITION AND SALE OF ANTIQUES, RECOGNIZED COLLECTIBLES, VINTAGE, SALVAGE ITEMS, REPURPOSED MERCHANDISE, PAINTED FURNITURE, HANDMADE CRAFTS, AND FOOD AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF THIS CONTRACT:

LIMITED SPACE IS AVAILABLE FOR FOOD VENDORS AND EACH ARE LIMITED TO FIVE (5) MENU ITEMS WHICH MUST BE APPROVED BY THE FAIR MANAGER AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.  FOOD VENDORS MUST PROVIDE, ALONG WITH THEIR APPLICATION, AN UP-TO-DATE COPY OF THEIR SANITATION CERTIFICATION.

BOOTHS ARE EITHER 10 X 10 OR 10 X 20.  EXHIBITOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SET-UPS.  NO REFUNDS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.  NO RAIN DATES

VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP ALL TRASH IN AND AROUND THEIR AREAS AND DISPOSING OF IT IN DESIGNATED DUMPSTERS BEHIND THE FOOD BOOTHS ON ERLANGER STREET BEFORE LEAVING THE FAIR.  SIDEWALKS WILL REMAIN CLEAR FOR SAFETY REASONS.  FOOD BOOTHS WILL USE DUMPSTERS LOCATED IN FOOD AREA, NOT PUBLIC TRASH CANS.  VENDORS WHO FAIL TO CLEAN THEIR AREA RISK BEING BANNED FROM FUTURE SHOWS. 

ANY PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED DURING THE FAIR SHOULD BE REPORTED TO FAIR CHAIRMAN. 

THE LESSOR SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY OR LOSS THAT MAY ARISE OR COME TO LESSEE, OR HIS OR HER EMPLOYEES, OR GOODS, FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER.  THE LESSOR PROVIDES NO INSURANCE.  ANY INSURANCE MUST BE PLACED AND PAID FOR BY THE EXHIBITOR.  I/WE HEREBY RELIEVE THE MANAGEMENT, THE SPONSORS, AND THE OWNERS OF THE PROPERTY OF ALL RESPONSIBILITY ABOUT THE SAFEKEEPING OF OUR PROPERTY.

SET-UP TIME & HOLDING AREA - BY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SLIDELL..

NO EARLIER THAN 5 PM ON FRIDAY PRIOR TO THE FAIR.  IF VENDORS ARRIVING IN CARS OR SUVs COULD PLAN TO ARRIVE AT 6 PM OR LATER, THIS WILL GIVE THE LARGER VEHICLES A CHANCE TO  UNLOAD SO THE STREETS ARE NOT SO CLOGGED DURING SET-UP.  WE ASK FOR PATIENCE DURING SET-UP TIME.

VENDORS ARRIVING EARLY IN AN RV, PULLING A TRAILER, OR IN A CARGO TRUCK WILL BE DIRECTED TO A HOLDING AREA LOCATED AT 1330 BAYOU LANE (NOTE:  ENTRANCE IS ON PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE AT BAYOU LANE.).  MAP IS PART OF APPLICATION FOR YOUR INFORMATION.  PLEASE USE MAP NOT GPS.  CONSIDERING THE CITY REQUIREMENTS, OVERNIGHT PARKING OF RVs, TRAILERS OR CARGO TRUCKS ARE WELCOME IN THE HOLDING AREA BUT NOT WITHIN THE FAIR PERIMETER.  VIOLATORS WILL BE TICKETED.

FOOD VENDORS WILL BE CONTACTED INDIVIDUALLY ON WHEN TO PLAN THEIR ARRIVAL FOR AN ORDERLY SET-UP.

VENDORS MUST UNLOAD AND SET-UP FROM THE STREET AND NOT FROM THE POST OFFICE INTERIOR PARKING AREA.  POSTAL POLICE WILL NOW TOW ANY VEHICLE VIOLATING THE POST OFFFICE AREA OR ACCESSES IN ANY WAY.  NO CARGO TRAILERS CAN BE PARKED ON SECOND STREET IN FRONT OF THE POST OFFICE.  POLICE WILL IDENTIFY OWNER AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FAIR.

AFTER UNLOADING YOUR MERCHANDISE BE CONSIDERATE AND MOVE YOUR VEHICLE QUICKLY OUT OF THE THE FAIR AREA.  PARKING IS AVAILABLE ALONG THE RAILROAD TRACKS ADJACENT TO THE FAIR, AND IN THE HOLDING AREA.

CONCLUSION OF FAIR.  VENDORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE FAIR UNTIL 5 PM ON SUNDAY FOR TEAR DOWN. ALL SPOTS ARE ASSIGNED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.

RETURN APPLICATION WITH PAYMENT TO SECURE A SPACE.  SPACES ARE ASSIGNED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
