Sandra Hale Schulman is an arts writer, curator and film producer
Her archives of rare Ramones designs by Arturo Vega were featured at the Queens Museum and at the Grammy Museum Los Angeles Spring 2017
She co-founded two galleries in NYC in the 1980s - Spiritual America and 303 Gallery,
her catalog on Spiritual America released Spring 2015.
She has curated art shows for galleries in NYC, Joshua Tree, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Southampton.
Through her company Slink Productions she has produced a tribute CD and
documentary on Native folksinger Peter La Farge (www.peterlafarge.com)
She released a music video featuring Floyd Westerman and John Densmore (The Doors);
and a documentary on Karen Dalton.
She currently is an Arts columnist for WPB Magazine, writes for HamptonsArtHub.com and is working as a consultant on various art and film projects.
Her work has appeared in Billboard, Variety, Rolling Stone, Ocean Drive, Country Music Magazine, The New York Daily News, News From Indian Country, and Entertainment Weekly. She was an entertainment columnist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel for 8 years.
Part Cherokee, she has become a spokesperson for Native American causes on TV and radio. Raised in New York, she has worked out of NYC, Miami Beach, Los Angeles, Joshua Tree, and Nashville, Tennessee.
