GOD WANTS YOU, NOW!
WHY WERE YOU BORN?
We are all very special to God who has set us up to be his own sons. Our purpose here on earth is to do His will which is the right and only way to please Him and to be all that we can be in the earth. God so loved us that He gave us everything He has even to His son. He wants us to be like Him in every way which means that we can speak and whatever we say will come into being. That is better than being a trillionaire because our words can make a trillionaire a pauper. The problem we have is that it takes us quite a while to find out who God is, then what He can do, then what He wants us to do. The key to the answers is to ask Him. He says that we have not because we ask not. Now, if we would be like the little children we are and acknowledge that we don't know much of anything and then begin to ask, then God will answer us affirmatively and give us what we ask for. He says that if we ask anything in His will that we know (we don't have to guess) we have what we asked for. No, He won't provide for us anything that is against His law. He won't help you find a prostitute or give you somebody else's husband. God is righteous and no unrighteousness is in Him, so bad cannot come out of the totality of goodness. But. if you want your children and your parents to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, God will provide that and when you have lined up your priorities right he will give you provision for all that you need to do your work here on earth and other things such as money, cars, people, etc. Ask Him to tell you why He specifically allowed you to be put on this earth as a potential son. Ask Him for healing and power and knowledge and goodness and the ability to speak well or sing or rejoice. Ask Him to show you the way by the Holy Spirit and be everything He has called you to be. Don't think that God only called preachers. He has a calling for every person who ever lived on the face of the earth. Everybody wants to be the preacher so that they can control other people. God does not want to control us. He wants to lead and guide us because He knows what has happened and He knows what is going to happen. So fopr our sake, He wants to show us the way. We are servants of the Most High God, but only if we want to be. Because we love Him, we trust Him and do what He tells us to do. We have it backwards. Pastors, preachers and reverends (there is no such thing as a reverend), are not to lord it over any of us. They are servants, too, and are not elevated over the person who sweeps the floor at the church. God can provide to us exceedingly abundantly above what we can ask or think. But we have not asked Him for what we can ask or think. Let's start asking.
Know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God loves you and has forgiven you for any and all things you have done. He says so right in Psalm 139
PS 139:1 O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
PS 139:2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
PS 139:3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
PS 139:4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
PS 139:5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
PS 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
PS 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
PS 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
PS 139:9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
PS 139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
PS 139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
PS 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
PS 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
PS 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
PS 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
PS 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
PS 139:17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
PS 139:18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
PS 139:19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
PS 139:20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
PS 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
PS 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
PS 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
PS 139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
I declare and decree in the name of Jehovah God and the Lord Jesus Christ that this year is the year of breakthrough. Nothing shall stand in the way of the Word of God which shall not return to him void. I take authority over all dominions, powers and authorities that are not of the Will of the Lord God Almighty. I declare wisdom and might and power be unto those who love God and are called according to His purposes. I declare that no weapon formed against them or me will prosper and that all purposes of the called shall come to pass and be revealed to many. I decree that the eyes of the people of Richmond will be opened and the wealth of the wicked be provided to the just. I decree that Richmond, Virginia shall be a city of Refuge and that many will be saved and protected from the wiles of evil men who wish to use this city for their own glory. The Lord God Jehovah declares that it is done!

The word of God is good.
The Trumpet by Bill Burns -- April 23, 2007: You are entering a corporate time that will be like the feast days of old. This will be an appointed time of My visitation and presence to open the door of blessing to My people, says the Lord. When you come together with hungry hearts -- where the brethren dwell together in unity -- there the blessing is commanded. There shall be a feasting upon My Word. Not only will the power of My glory be upon you, but in that glory you shall be transformed, you shall receive the blessing. You shall receive deliverance, and you shall receive new revelation of your gifting. I will begin to draw these gifts out of your innermost being like a river of life. As you turn your hearts toward heaven, lifting Me up, there shall come a glorious transformation in this season, says the Lord of Hosts.
Did you hear it? I spoke to you in the beginning of this year, says the Lord, and did I not say to you that in this year you would hear the sound of heaven? What then would you believe would happen when you heard the sound of heaven? I am walking among you to touch you (listen for the sound of my footsteps) and only one touch is all it takes for the dead to arise and for the lame to walk and for the blind to see and for the sick to be made whole. One touch, My people, is all you need from Me. Listen, then for the sound of heaven, whether it be a mighty, rushing wind or the sound of worship among My people or the sound of the crackling of the fire that purifies or the sound of the flow of the living water. If you can hear the sound you can expect My touch to follow, which will bring health to your bones, strength to your body, victory to your circumstances, and then My glory shall rest upon you. Arise, you who have been down-trodden. Arise with hope in your hearts. Stand before Me. Come in faith and boldness, knowing that all that is required is that you believe.
Small Straws In A Soft Wind by Marsha Burns - - April 23, 2007: I have caused you to rise up and let your light shine. I have stirred your heart. And, you have responded. You have risen up in your heart. You were sitting down, and now you are standing up in your inner man. You will open your mouth, and I will fill it as you pray My will. I am well pleased, beloved, says the Lord! Psalms 81:10 I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Today was a sad day. My nephew, Willie Junior Gregory, died today, March 9, 2007 near Atlanta, Georgia. The thing that I want to talk about is that when my niece and his sister called me, I had absolutely no thought that what she said was not true. I immediately began to feel sad. I don't want my nephew to die. He was only 2 years older than I (his mom and my sister were old enough to be my mom). I knew within me that what she was telling me had actually occurred even though she heard the news from my nephew's daughter in Atlanta.
The Word of God says every word that proceedth out of the mouth of God is true. So why do we have such a terrible time believing what he says for us? His Word says that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. I believe God, but I have got to get to the place that I believe him more than I did my niece this afternoon who told me that my nephew had died. The Bible says that by the stripes ofJesus we were healed. That means that Jesus has already taken the pain and the horror of any malevolence to our bodies. That means that we should never get sick and that we can overcome any harm to our bodies. So, do we defeat our own selves by what we believe? The Bible says that faith in His Word is the only thing that pleases God. Now what are we to do? Just what is our problem? Could it be that we don't believe that God is? Do we need for him to manifest Himself to us? Well, we need to do whatever it takes to make us believe Him without question or pause. I need to get to work because there are many who need healing, money, peace, joy. Everyday I should be living by the Word of God which is true and when spoken cannot return to Him void. His Word must do what it says or God is a liar or we do not have faith. Being in fear shows that we do not have faith. Pray with me that God gives us faith to take this city for His glory and purposes. Where are the people who love God? Call me 232-4832.
Christ Is Our High Priest1 Here is the main point: We have a High Priest who sat down in the place of honor beside the throne of the majestic God in heaven. 2 There he ministers in the heavenly Tabernacle,[a ] the true place of worship that was built by the Lord and not by human hands.
3 And since every high priest is required to offer gifts and sacrifices, our High Priest must make an offering, too. 4 If he were here on earth, he would not even be a priest, since there already are priests who offer the gifts required by the law. 5 They serve in a system of worship that is only a copy, a shadow of the real one in heaven. For when Moses was getting ready to build the Tabernacle, God gave him this warning: “Be sure that you make everything according to the pattern I have shown you here on the mountain.”[b ]
6 But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.
7 If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it. 8 But when God found fault with the people, he said:
“The day is coming, says the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel and Judah.
9 This covenant will not be like the one
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
and led them out of the land of Egypt.
They did not remain faithful to my covenant,
so I turned my back on them, says the Lord.
10 But this is the new covenant I will make
with the people of Israel on that day,[c ] says the Lord:
I will put my laws in their minds,
and I will write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11 And they will not need to teach their neighbors,
nor will they need to teach their relatives,[d ]
saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’
For everyone, from the least to the greatest,
will know me already.
12 And I will forgive their wickedness,
and I will never again remember their sins.”[e ]
13 When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.
2 Peter Chapter 2
The Danger of False Teachers
1 But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. 3 In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed.
4 For God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell,[a ] in gloomy pits of darkness,[b ] where they are being held until the day of judgment. 5 And God did not spare the ancient world—except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God’s righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood. 6 Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people. 7 But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him. 8 Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day. 9 So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. 10 He is especially hard on those who follow their own twisted sexual desire, and who despise authority.
These people are proud and arrogant, daring even to scoff at supernatural beings[c ] without so much as trembling. 11 But the angels, who are far greater in power and strength, do not dare to bring from the Lord[d ] a charge of blasphemy against those supernatural beings.
12 These false teachers are like unthinking animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed. They scoff at things they do not understand, and like animals, they will be destroyed. 13 Their destruction is their reward for the harm they have done. They love to indulge in evil pleasures in broad daylight. They are a disgrace and a stain among you. They delight in deception[e ] even as they eat with you in your fellowship meals. 14 They commit adultery with their eyes, and their desire for sin is never satisfied. They lure unstable people into sin, and they are well trained in greed. They live under God’s curse. 15 They have wandered off the right road and followed the footsteps of Balaam son of Beor,[f ] who loved to earn money by doing wrong. 16 But Balaam was stopped from his mad course when his donkey rebuked him with a human voice.
17 These people are as useless as dried-up springs or as mist blown away by the wind. They are doomed to blackest darkness. 18 They brag about themselves with empty, foolish boasting. With an appeal to twisted sexual desires, they lure back into sin those who have barely escaped from a lifestyle of deception. 19 They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you. 20 And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. 21 It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. 22 They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.”[g ] And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”
