Welcome to Golob Farms
Sale Information for the 2015 show year. Lambs are on the ground and looking great for 2015! We will be having a bid-board style sale at the farm towards the end of January. Call if you want your name put on the list for early lambs. And of course, we will have another set of lambs from January through March for you summer/fall needs.
We started our flock in 2006. We are now using CIDR's in order to have early lambs that will work for the Central Washington Junior Livestock Show (CWJLS), which is held in Toppenish the first week of May, as well as for Moses Lake, Spokane and Milton-Freeewater Shows.
Currently, we have ewe genetics from Lefever Holbrook Club Lambs, GSL Club Lambs, Deboodt Club Lambs, Boatman Club Lambs, Fallesen Sheep Farm and Sage Hill Livestock. We recently purchased a very nice January ewe lamb from Simpson Livestock of Colorado and are planning a trip back to buy some more of their genetics. For the 2014 lamb crop we used our Miller cuck, "Boa". and a Fallesen buck. Pictures are listed under our lamb page.
Our goal is to keep improving our genetics and produce consistent club lambs and breeding stock for the Washington State. In that effort we just purchased 1/2 interest in a registered hamp ram from Boatman Club Lambs and a mature ram from Kleinert Hampshires in Illinois as well as 1/2 interet in the "195" ram out of Texas. All three of these rams compliment each other well and will move us into the future. Check out these rams on our "Sires" page.
