QUALIFICATONS

LEAD TEACHER

A Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education. Type 04 Certificate preferred.

One year of  full-time early childhood classroom teaching experience.   Must be 21 years of  age and knowledge of Spanish a plus.

ASSISTANT TEACHER I

An AA Degree in Early Childhood Education with at least 6 semester hrs or 9 quarter hrs in courses directly related to child care or child development.

One year full-time classroom experience in an Early Childhood setting.   Must be 21 years of age and knowledge of Spanish a plus.

TEACHER AID

DCFS requirements and at least 6 semester hrs or 9 quarter hrs in Early Childhood Education.

One year full-time classroom experience in an Early Childhood setting.   Must be 21 years of age, knowledge of Spanish a plus.

COOK

Must be 21 years of age, must possess a food and sanitation license, 6 months to 1 year  previous experience in food service in an early childhood or elementary setting will be desirable.  Must possess prior experience in proper implementation of menu plans to assure that meals, sanitation practices, meal preparation, storage of food and non food items meet food program requirements, as well as federal, state and local guidelines.
