ATTN PARENTS: ALIENATED OR ESTRANGED FROM YOUR ADULT CHILDREN OR EXPERIENCING SEVERE UNRESOLVING CONFLICTS THAT OFTEN RESULT IN LONG PERIODS OF MINIMAL/NO CONTACT, MISUNDERSTANDINGS, REJECTION
This is a support group and workshop for Parents Who experience Alienation or Estrangement from Adult Children or are experiencing severe conflicts resulting in on again off again relationships & unresolved conflicts. Join us to support one another to understand this experience from a different perspective and create strategies to decrease stress and increase the potential to improve connections. Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS). PAS is said to be worse than PTSD because the chlid is virtually "kidnapped" literally or by way of their mind.
To cover each topic we will use guidelines offered by Dr. Joshua Coleman, Psychologist and expert in the field of Adult Child/Parent Alienation and Estrangement both professionally and personally; as well as offering some Holistic approaches to healing. We will end each session with a meditation, facilitated by Carol Morissette of Healthy Alternatives Wellness Center
