Brooklyn Holcomb
Murdered 01/15/2007
JUSTICE!
HOLCOMB FOUND GUILTY!
COMMENTS: Brooklyn, I see her face in my sleep, her smile and i wake up in tears and wish i could have helped her. I have two girls of my own and I am extremely saddened by what this little angel must have had to go through. My only wish is that she didn't suffer as i think she may have. I'm angry and sad and confused. I can only say to the family of Brooklyn that her face and smile will be forever emblazed in my mind and heart. And if i get to heaven i hope i see her so I can kneel down and look her in the eyes and tell her "i love you sweetie, you are an angel". GOD BE WITH THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF BROOKLYN......SF

LIFE WITH NO MERCY
for Michael Merrifield!!
Michael Merrifield sentenced to life with no mercy for 1st degree murder; 10 years for child neglect resulting in death; 10-20 years for sexual abuse by parent or custodian - to be served concurrently
NO MERCY FOR MAN WHO KILLED LOGAN
NO JUSTICE FOR LOGAN -- Diane and John are still free!!
Rest in peace baby boy

JUDGE SAYS 'NO' TO JUSTICE FOR LOGAN
Judge Charles King lets man whose negligence resulted in Logan's death serve one to five years on home confinement
Judge Charles King allowed outrageous courtroom fiasco to play out, including permitting former patients to clap for John Merrifield with standing ovation, as if Merrifield was being granted an award! Little Logan was forgotten as the drama played out, with Judge Charles King referring to burns inflicted on baby Logan by Dr. Merrifield's son as perhaps a 'rash'

In Loving Memory of Logan Shane Goodall
October 26, 2002 - September 6, 2005
Our little angel touched many lives in many different ways. He was loved by everyone and will never be forgotten
IN SEPTEMBER 2005, TWO-YEAR-OLD LOGAN GOODALL DIED AS A RESULT OF BEING BRUTALLY BEATEN AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTED. |
According to testimony by the Medical Examiner, Logan Goodall was either kicked, punched or beaten so severely that his liver ruptured. His abdominal injuries as well as his head injuries were severe enough to cause death. His little bottom and feet were burned by someone dipping him into either boiling water or chemicals. He was sexually assaulted by the application of pressure and/or pinching of his penis; his rectum was sexually violated, his scrotum was either cut, bitten or torn.
The person/persons responsible for the heinous acts of violence and sexual assault against Logan were not known sexual predators. However, according to a report by the West Virginia Division of Corrections, by the time the average sexual predator is arrested for the first time, he has already had at least 70 victims. How many other victims suffered at the hands of those responsible for Logan's death? |
